These Images are are all portraits of individuals currently living in Northampton.
The Portraits were made from a temporary studio set up in the entrance of Livia’ house in Abington Avenue.
Each Saturday between 12-2 passersby were invited in for a brief photo session and short questionnaire about their lives in Northampton. Creating this simple cross section of society in the artists doorway, in the transitional space between private and public providing neautrality for this simple census of image and words.

Soft: Day 881 - 1461” is an 80-page collection of pictures from 34 Softsets I’ve watched in a past year and 7 months, spanning from the 881st to the 1461st day since the band was named Soft. It’s an ode to the continuous effort at the grassroots level to practice the passion for both music and photography, featuring the band, a few jump-ins they’ve had, and the audience at many different venues such as Windmill Brixton, Shacklewell Arms, George Tavern, The Lexington and Elephants Head etc.
